Summary:

Between July 1 and Sept 15, a public hearing is required to be conducted jointly by the school employer and the teachers' exclusive representative. The public is welcome to give testimony on subjects of bargaining and statutory subjects of Discussion as described in I.C. 20-29-6-1(a).
I. The School Employer or Teachers' Exclusive Representative will open the Pre-Formal Bargaining public hearing.
II. The School Employer or Teachers' Exclusive Representative will open the floor for public testimony.
III. The School Employer or Teachers' Exclusive Representative will close the public hearing. |
