Summary:
|
Dr. Peggy Buffington, Superintendent, will highlight and recommend acceptance of an Indiana Secured School Safety Grant that was written by Greg Bialata, Director of Safety and Operations. The grant will be used towards salaries of the School Resource Officers and is a matching grant. The term of the grant is September 1, 2021/August 31, 2022. Last year's grant was $100,000.00. In addition, the Board is asked to authorize the School City of Hobart's portion to the Hobart Police Department for SROs in the schools.
Board action will be requested.
