Summary:
|
Dr. Peggy Buffington, Superintendent, will present a request for an overnight study trip from Nanelle Hairston, middle school teacher, for her students to continue their participation in the “We the People” competition in Indianapolis. The competition supplements the students’ study of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution in accordance with eighth grade standards. The students placed first in local competition. There will be 17 students participating with Mrs. Hairston and Tammy May supervising. The group will travel by school bus leaving Hobart on December 6 and will be returning on December 7, 2021.
