Summary:

Dr. Buffington, Superintendent, will discuss the awarding the RFP for the after school childcare program. At the April 1, 2021, meeting, the Board authorized advertising the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the After School Childcare Program (Latch Key). Only one proposal was received, and it was from the Hobart Family YMCA. The YMCA's proposal is attached in the electronic meeting packet for the Board's review and consideration. Please note that Form A Fee Schedule is also attached separately.
Dr. Buffington will recommend that the Board award the contract to the Hobart Family YMCA. Contract dates are August 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, renewable for one year based upon satisfactory performance. The Hobart Family YMCA has provided this program for many years, and we have had a good working relationship with them.
Board action is requested.
