Summary:

Dr. Buffington, Superintendent, will highlight a grant from the John Anderson Foundation. The award notification letter from the Board of Directors of the John Anderson Foundation Grant is attached. They awarded the district a grant for $5,000.00. The high school performing arts program received $1,000, and $4,000 was awarded for the purchase of 3-D printers. The printers would be used to enhance opportunities for STEM classes, for the robotics programs, and in our computer education classes.
We appreciate the continued support from the John Anderson Foundation for our performing arts program and for our STEAM curriculum by supporting the growth of our robotics programs. Since 2010, the district has received $43,000.00 in grant awards from the foundation.
