Summary:

Dr. Peggy Buffington, Superintendent, submitted a Memorandum of Understanding to IEERB as required for approval to add to a negotiated contract. Enclosed please find a tentative agreement signed by Peggy Buffington, Superintendent, and Janice Hamady, Chief Negotiator for the HTA, for a stipend of $1,000.00 because the school district would like to compensate all teachers for the dedication for planning and preparation and work performed on behalf of students exhibited during the 2020-2021 school year throughout the pandemic. The Board needs to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding.
