Summary:
|
Resolution No. 2021-4 provides for the transfer of appropriations between major accounts in order to balance and finalize the budget year 2020. According to the State Board of Accounts, If the proper legal officers of any school corporation determine that it is necessary to transfer money from one major budget classification to another and the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined, the transfer of funds is made by resolution of the governing body of the school corporation at a regular public meeting, it is not necessary to publish notice of transfer. Approval by the Department of Local Government Finance is not necessary. Ted Zembala will request Board Approval. Secretary Guthrie will read the resolution prior to a call for the board to vote on the resolution.
