Summary:

Dr. Buffington, Superintendent, will present the 2021-2022 contract agreement for the After School Childcare Program with the Hobart Family YMCA. On May 20, 2021, the Board accepted the Hobart Family YMCA's proposal for the After School Childcare program. The contract dates are August 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, and the contract can be renewed for an additional year based upon satisfactory performance. A copy of the contract is attached.
In 1987, the Hobart Family YMCA began providing before school and after school childcare programs to all public Hobart schools. Since the 1989-1990 school year, the YMCA has had an agreement with the school district to provide an after school childcare program on our school sites, and we have a very good working relationship with them.
Board action is requested.
