Summary:
|
Dr. Buffington, Superintendent, will comment and ask the Board to authorize her to distribute the 2021 Teacher Appreciation Grant. The total 2021 grant is $150,573.89. $14,677.00 of the grant will be distributed to the Northwest Indiana Education Coop leaving a balance of $135,896.89 to pay eligible staff and the employer cost of FICA and TERF. The amount of the grant is up from last year's amount of $3,899.47. The NISEC share of the grant is down from last year's amount of $17,441.00.
