Summary:

Dr. Peggy Buffington, Superintendent, will present Resolution No. 2024-26 for the Board's consideration. The resolution designates October 16 as Transportation Department Recognition Day. Normally this day is celebrated during National School Bus Safety Week but this year it falls during this year's fall break week, October 21-25, 2024, so they will be recognized the week before.
Secretary Sandi Hillan will need to read the resolution, and President Terry Butler will request Board action and a roll call vote.
Board action is requested.
